The most interpretive key to the timing of the Lord's return is found in the most unexpected place... the resumption of animal sacrifices on the most hotly contested pieces of real estate in the world. Temple Mount in Jerusalem. While the Israeli government has taken steps to head off attempts to get these unsanctioned sacrifices underway, Jerusalem’s chief rabbi admits the sacrifice is incumbent upon the Jewish people even in current times, even in the absence of a Temple or a Red Heifer to purify Israel.
